His renowned series 'The Swimmers' highlights the power and beauty of non-model women. The process involves intimate human interactions between Tom and groups of women who have never met before, crossing gender and identity boundaries.
These interactions serve as a therapeutic process, releasing fixations and overcoming barriers. The resulting frames immortalize these moments in a minimalistic aesthetic with soft, subtle colors.
Tom’s photographs narrate stories without words, exploring diverse perspectives through playful light and shadow play and shifting focal points.
