The 'Surface' series by artist Irit Hayon explores the concept of surfaces.
Using a mixed technique of acrylic and adhesives, Irit creates amorphous shapes with a primal and abstract quality.
The delicate seams between them, sometimes tense and sometimes relaxed, are intriguing. Perhaps instead of trying to uncover what lies deep within, or to bring hidden secrets into the light, it is preferable to dwell on the beauty of primality, in what lies under our noses, revealed and exposed.
