The exhibition “I Packed Alone” starting point is Jewboy’s (Yaron Shin) personal archive, that contains works that have never been shown before. The majority of Jewboy’s works embody uniq creatures, figures and quirky characters when some are inspired by the artist’s close-ones, while others completely fictitious. Jewboy gives the viewer an intimate and complex look using the most modest toolbox - pencil, pen, cardboard, sticky notes. He leaves the file behind and brings the raw material to the front. 1of135 gallery’s salon is wrapped in brown wrapping paper, as a natural continuation to the artist's works, having in mind the concept of traveling to an unknown destination, or alternatively, returning from it.
