Shaul Cohen is an industrial designer and artist, holding an M.DES degree from the Jerusalem Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. He exposes the rough urban beauty of Israeli architecture, often hidden in plain sight. Shaul is a co-owner of 3D FACTORY, a hub for 3D printers. Utilizing this fascinating technology, he creates miniatures of the most personal Israeli places – structures and iconic imagery we pass by every day on the streets of Tel Aviv. Shaul’s works have been featured in numerous exhibitions, including Berlin’s Design Week and the BauNow exhibition celebrating 100 years of Bauhaus. His artworks unfold stories with incredible attention to detail. From overflowing garbage cans to air conditioners outside apartments, each piece reflects Israeli everyday life with humor and charm.
